About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Clinical Nurse (Education) with Orthopaedic, Urology and Paediatric experience to join our Education Team. This is a temporary role through to May 2025 covering Maternity Leave and is on a part time basis of up to 72 hours (0.9 FTE) per fortnight with the potential of a job-sharing opportunity.
Reporting to the Education Manager, this position works closely with unit managers, staff, graduate nurses and students to provide responsive, effective, evidence-based education based on organisational and learner's needs.
You will be responsible for all aspects of education and training within the department and in the broader education team. You will also ensure the provision of excellent care through supporting the development and assessment of clinical skills, assisting and conducting workshops and support other education activities.

Things that work for us:
Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
Demonstrated advanced clinical skills across a variety of disciplines including Orthopaedics, Urology and Paediatrics is highly desirable
Demonstrated clinical leadership abilities and strong communication and collaboration skills
Previous experience in an education or clinical facilitation role is highly desirable
Demonstrated educational abilities and use of best-practice education and adult learning principles
Postgraduate qualification in education is highly desirable
Remuneration:
The position of Clinical Nurse (Education) in addition to our competitive salary packaging options, is a Classification/Grade with a base remuneration of $52.28 - $56.01 + superannuation based on experience level and relevant qualifications, exclusive of shift penalties or allowances.
