Work closely with category supplier managers, supply chain, and business units (BUs) to develop and execute a holistic strategy and be part of a global team. Understand the market position of each supplier for specific materials, assessing the financial stability of suppliers, executing supply assurance, purchasing material with the balance of inventory level, and provide input and recommendations to Micron Management. This position also requires that you serve as the primary point of contact for resolving critical supplier demand/supply issues and oversee internal communication related to partners. Implement recommended actions to achieve targets for material fulfillment, on-time delivery, inventory management/turns, safety stock and replenishment points. Implement inventory specific savings levers such as vendor stocking, supplier managed, or consignment programs. Execute the implementation of inventory strategies and compliance and participate in the resolution of any supply constraints or issues. Deliver supplier evaluation /quarterly business review (QBR) scorecard metric targets to Category Team. Monitor and adjust global inventory compliance to regulatory and policy requirements. Ensure stakeholder requirements are met through early engagement and expertise through the value chain. Maintain positive relationships with partners. Drive and sustain effective communication with internal and external partners. Drive for continuous process/system improvement/automation/optimization. Collaborate internally to develop key performance measures/metrics and monitor category and supplier performance against these expectations to ensure continuous performance improvement. Perform data analysis that can be leveraged in negotiation and sourcing strategy. Responsible for supply chain and logistics functions. Creates integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. Focuses resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and conducts and/or manages strategic supply chain analysis to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis. Serves as liaison between sales and operations teams to develop concepts and coordinate product knowledge. Provides data analysis for production planning and volume studies.

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology Inc. estimates it could pay for this full-time position is: $113,850 - $144,000
