Job Description:

Summary:

The IT Lead is responsible for providing technical leadership and day-to-day oversight of a team of IT Specialists. This role serves as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and supports the Technology Manager in ensuring effective, secure, and consistent IT service delivery across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and provide daily guidance to IT Specialists.
  • Assign and prioritize work to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Serve as the first escalation point for complex technical issues.
  • Support onboarding, training, and professional development of team members.
  • Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Oversee device provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.
  • Ensure adherence to IT standards, security policies, and best practices.
  • Participate in system upgrades, deployments, and IT projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve IT processes and service delivery.
  • Assist with documentation of procedures and technical standards.
  • Analyze recurring issues and recommend preventive solutions.
  • Support IT Manager with reporting and operational initiatives.
  • Other unlisted duties will be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT support or infrastructure roles.
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring IT staff.
  • Strong knowledge of end-user systems, networking, and Microsoft technologies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting multi-site or field-based environments.
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  • Relevant technical certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.)
