Job Purpose:
Our Sales Trainee will learn Veritiv’s full sales lifecycle and support the sales team with generating new leads within a designated region or industry. This role will also focus on maintaining customer relationships, increasing revenue from existing accounts and provide specific solutions and quotes. This position requires a competitive and motivated spirit with the drive to solve problems.Job Responsibilities:
• Generate new leads by researching networking, cold calling, and prospecting.Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
• Packaging experience preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in new sales/business development.
• Ability to use and create customer presentations, quotes, proposals, value logs, etc.
• Ability to create and maintain strong relations with customers.
Salary Range $65,000 - $80,000
Work Experience:
2+ years related experience preferredAbility to work independently, successfully manage accounts, work under pressure, and adapt to changes in the work environment is essential.● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.● Strong planning and organization skills are required.● The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.Education:
● High School Diploma/GED PreferredPhysical Requirements:
● A significant portion of the job responsibilities will require computer work that involves the continuous use of the fingers, hands, wrists, and sitting for long periods of time.
● The position also requires frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
● The position requires work in an office as well as travel to customers, suppliers, group meetings, etc.
