Manager Financial Reporting - HCP

The R&D HCP/HCO Monitoring and Reporting Team is responsible for the data collection, tracking, monitoring, and reporting of payments and other transfers of value to Healthcare Professionals (HCP) and Healthcare Organizations (HCOs). The processes currently in place helps ensure that GSK can comply with all reporting requirements and are in alignment with GSK's values and expectations.

Your responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of 8 GSK employees, providing support, leadership and direction, and enabling and encouraging development, in line with the GSK The Code
  • Owning relationship with third party service provider involved in performing process steps, and ensure smooth and effective working and relationships
  • Manage processes to ensure compliance with internal policies/processes and external regulations of payments to external experts, healthcare professionals and healthcare organizations
  • Supervising management of processes and systems to ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness in internal and external reporting obligations
  • Providing Senior Management with guidance and recommendations on how best to address and manage the reputational risk related to the financial interactions with external experts and healthcare professionals
  • Arbitrating on escalated issues and providing advice to support business decisions
  • Designing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives aimed at simplifying processes, reducing costs and maximizing  efficiencies and at the same time enhancing compliance and risk mitigation
  • Collaboration with internal and external auditors, providing documentation and responding to audit queries
  • Represent GSK R&D on all matters of HCP/O reporting within the company as required

Basic Qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Finance/ accounting degree / professional qualification or degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, or applied science
  • Experience of effectively managing and leading a team in a supportive and effective manner
  • Significant experience of relevant analytics type work ideally within Pharma industry
  • Good understanding of accounting principles required to understand HCP/O reporting processes and requirements
  • Prior experience and systems such as SAP, experience of databases, automation
  • Ability to provide mid and long term vision and strategic directions.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills required. Demonstrated ability to interact with highest levels of the organization
  • Ability to operate independently of daily oversight, whilst escalating and communicating with leadership as appropriate
  • Strong leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple teams and delegate tasks appropriately
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills required
  • Fluent English (minimum C1)
