Where We Need You:

As a Marketing and Event Specialist on the Regional Marketing Team, you will be focused on producing virtual or in- person events for the purpose of business development, nurturing relationships and creating value-add for our clients. Your position will directly report to the Director of Marketing Experience within a matrix organization.

What You Will Do:

  • Partner with the Industry Marketing Leads, Global Strategic Account Management (GSAM) Executives and U.S. Regional Marketing leads to plan and execute account-based in-person event marketing activities.

  • Host virtual client trainings for important clients and track additional account-based marketing events across the U.S. markets, including the submission of CPE credit, when applicable.

  • Build and execute an integrated marketing plan for our Canada market to provide actionable business development opportunities for the local practice.

  • Provide marketing coverage for other U.S. regional marketing leads in their absence or for specific events that need additional support.

  • Regularly prepare content and present to various leadership groups for alignment.

  • Identify new opportunities to deepen existing relationships with clients, focused specifically on your areas of influence.

  • Actively leverage technologies to track, manage and analyze the effectiveness of your marketing initiatives.

  • As a team player on the marketing team, you will also lead and/or support various other marketing initiatives to continue to improve and innovate our overall marketing and communication program.

  • A desire for a long-term career with multiple opportunities for growth within the organization.

  • The business savviness and confidence to present in large management meetings to local/regional leadership and clients.

  • Excellent budget management skills and the ability to negotiate with various venues, vendors and organizations.

  • The ability to collect data and feedback to report on the success of your initiatives and how to improve for the future.

  • Being a team player who is always looking for more innovative, efficient, and effective ways to better our marketing program and organization.

  • A willingness to travel locally up to 10 –20% to execute high-profile marketing activities and build relationships with leadership within your markets and the greater organization.

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field

  • 3–5 years’ experience in marketing, event hospitality, project management or business development

  • Expertise in event marketing, project management and CRM systems, preferably Salesforce CRM

  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.

$77,000.00 - $117,000.00

Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities. Below is the bonus target opportunity for this job.

The total cash range is estimated from the sum of the base salary range plus the bonus target opportunity. Below is the estimated total cash range for this job.

$83,160.00 - $126,360.00

Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverages, FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave up to 10 weeks, and short/long term disability. We offer eligible employees a company 401(k) savings and investment plan with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions. We provide Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) varies based on years of service. New hires receive up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. Protiviti also recognizes up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year.
