The CEHRT Regulatory and Compliance Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the regulatory and compliance requirements related to Certified Electronic Health Record Technology (CEHRT). This role involves analyzing program requirements, translating them into business and functional documentation, and managing workflow processes. The manager will also handle the submission of data to various registries and ensure compliance with state, federal, and specialty public health requirements for multiple practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Management

  • Create & Maintain Dashboard reporting on all Registry & Immunization activities between Federal & State and the Practices

  • Communicate with practices on current status with state registries

  • Identify, mitigate, and report on each registry data quality scoring measures

  • Research, Document and Present Opportunities for quality improvement, cost avoidance for the practices and Value Add Services Ontada can provide

Program Analysis and Documentation:

  • Analyze program requirements and translate them into detailed business and functional documentation.

  • Develop and maintain processes that align with regulatory and compliance standards.

Data Quality for Submission and Management:

  • Monitor our scoring to evaluate compliant levels with each state so that practices are not contacted by the state for noncompliance

  • Collaborate with Product Management & Engineering to provide accurate data to government and specialty public health registries.

  • Ensure timely submission of data to state, federal, and other registries according to practice and government requirements.

Registration and Documentation:

  • Organize and manage the registration and documentation requirements for over 160 practices across more than 27 individual public and specialty registries.

  • Ensure all practices are registered correctly and documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory standards.

Requirement Analysis:

  • Review, analyze, and document the requirements of both public and specialty registry specifications.

  • Review and compare CMS HL7 specifications with state specifications

  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and ensure practices are compliant with the latest requirements.

  • Support with annual MIPS attestation requirements

Minimum Requirements

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree or Professional Experience in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Information Technology, or a related field

Critical Skills

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the healthcare industry

  • General knowledge and understanding of healthcare data and how it applies to different stakeholders

  • Understanding of CEHRT and its regulatory requirements

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into business processes and documentation

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders including government agencies, public health registries, and internal teams

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

  • Proficiency in using compliance and registry software tools

Additional Skills

  • Experience with large-scale practice project/program management

  • Ensures delivery of data on time and meeting scope and quality expectations

  • Identify Opportunities for efficiencies to automate to eliminate manual processes and ensure standardization across functional responsibility

  • Ability to utilize data analysis tools

  • Knowledge in utilizing automation processes to reduce manual workload

  • Ability to function productively on multiple project teams simultaneously

  • Ability to work independently without any supervision

  • Experienced working in a high paced environment and ability to work effectively under pressure/stressful conditions to meet tight deadlines

  • Ability to work well in a team and interact effectively.

  • Ability to provide level of effort estimates and to perform tasks within the estimated level of effort and schedule

  • Project Management Certification preferred

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$83,300 - $138,900
