What this role is all about:
We are looking for a Warehouse Clerk in Jerome, ID. The Warehouse Clerk effectively coordinates the shipping and receiving of all goods and materials at the plant as well as the preparation of documentation.
- Mon-Fri day shift
- Act as a liaison between carrier representative and Agropur US, confirming scheduled appointments and issuing instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
- Effectively communicate with the carriers upon check in and completion by delivering clear, concise direction.
- Assign carriers dock doors upon arrival and update in the EWM system to ensure accuracy upon unloading/loading of goods and materials.
- Update goods receipts with proper vendor lot numbers and manufacturing dates.
- Print goods receipts for receiving process.
- Accurately and timely upload paperwork for all outgoing shipments.
- Release EWM tasks to the floor to ensure warehouse personnel are receiving workflow in a timely manner.
- Safely operating material handling equipment to assist in the shipment, processing and receiving of product and materials as needed.
- Create Handling Units for all items that come into the plant.
- Enter the Handling Units into SAP and print the Barcodes for Warehouse for inventory to be added to the system.
- Pick the orders from the system for the Warehouse team to know what loads need to be staged, as well as printing all pick slips.
- Complete inventory corrections in the system.
What you need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Shipping and/or receiving experience preferred.
- Knowledge of office administration procedures and ability to operate most standard office equipment.
- Ability to solve problems by adapting knowledge and experience, resolving in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, establish priorities, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.

Our Jerome, ID, plant is home to approximately 400 employees and processes approximately 7 million pounds of milk per day. This facility produces various types of cheeses, such as; mozzarella, cheddar, provolone, muenster, parmesan, romano, Monterey jack, gouda, and asiago. They also run various whey streams, such as; deproteinized whey, sweet dairy whey, GMP, permeate, instantized, and our top-rated BiPro products.
