Job Summary

Have experience in both manual testing and automation frameworks, ensuring the highest standards of software quality. The role in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving software issues, collaborating closely with development teams to improve the overall product.

Responsibilities & Duties 

•    Execute Tests and Report Defects - Execute test cases and report identified defects to the development team.
•    Expert in API Testing
•    Test Automation - Write and extend manual and automated test cases. Collaborate on test automation framework enhancements
•    Excellent at requirement analysis

Manual Testing:
•    Execute detailed manual tests based on test cases, ensuring the application meets functional, performance, and usability requirements.
•    Identify, report, and track defects through the entire lifecycle.
•    Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing.
•    Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases or issues not previously documented.
•    Create and maintain detailed test documentation including test cases, test data, and test execution reports.
•    Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and design test strategies.

Automation Testing:
•    Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, integration, and regression tests using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
•    Design and implement automation frameworks to improve the efficiency and coverage of testing.
•    Run automated tests and analyze results, identifying issues that need to be addressed.
•    Continuously improve automated testing procedures and processes to increase reliability and repeatability.
•    Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

 

Qualifications & Skills

•    Excellent at requirement analysis and functional test case planning.
•    Involve in all testing phases.
•    Experience in Agile & Waterfall SDLC.
•    Excellent in analyzing issues & prioritizing tasks.
•    Able to work independently and great team player.
•    LoadRunner for Performance Testing
•    UFT for Automation 
•    SOAPUI for API Testing
•    HPQC/JIRA for test management and execution
•    Experience in Linux & Azure cloud platform is an advantage

 

Role-specific Requirements
•    Create Comprehensive Test Cases - Develop both manual and automated test cases, ensuring thorough coverage.
