Job Title: Lead Registered Veterinary Nurse

Hours: 40 hours/week (full time)

Practice: Palmerston Vet Group, Oakhill Branch (Woodford)

Rota: Mixture of early and late shifts Monday to Friday + 1:6 weekend shift at our hospital in Buckhurst Hill

Salary: Up to £35,000 dependant on skills and experience held

We're looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse with at ideally two years post-qualification experience to join our team as a Lead Nurse and help our practice grow. As an ideal candidate, you would have excellent communication skills, be highly organised, and able to work comfortably with autonomy in a small but growing practice.

The Lead Nurse role is crucial to our business's ability to provide patients with the highest level of clinical care and will ensure that clinical standards & nursing care are aligned supporting the patient journey. The Lead Nurse will work closely with the clinicians and their team to cultivate a positive work environment and foster the practice's growth.

Lead Nurse responsibilities will include nurse duties such as, provision of nurse consultations, inpatient care, anaesthesia & assisting with procedures and line management of a small number of associates. The role will primarily focus on clinical duties, allowing protected time for leadership and administrative tasks that form part of the role.
