OVERVIEW:
Customer focused, highly skilled surgical technologist or experienced OR Instrument Tech who demonstrates clinical expertise. Responsible for coordination and oversight of daily activities between the OR and Sterile Processing Department (SPD) to facilitate efficient case flow.
Where You Will Work:
AHWFB Outpatient Surgery is a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center featuring eight operating rooms and two procedure rooms, along with 32 beds dedicated to preparation, recovery, and post-anesthesia care. Our services include general surgery, otolaryngology, orthopedics, urology, and plastic surgery. In the OR and PreOp/PACU, our RNs lead with compassion, providing top-tier care in an ambulatory setting where patients and families are always at the heart of everything we do.

What we're looking for:
We are looking for a Scrub Tech with a vast knowledge of all instrumentation for ALL service lines.
Must have a thorough understanding of surgical instrumentation across all services performed within the Outpatient Surgery Department.
Collaborate with surgical teams and vendors to ensure required equipment and instrumentation are available for scheduled procedures.
Coordinate the ordering, tracking, and management of surgical instrumentation to support procedural needs.
Serve as a liaison between the Operating Room, Sterile Processing Department (SPD), and vendors to ensure instrument and tray availability.
Collaborate with vendors, SPD, and OR staff to address instrumentation needs, resolve issues, and support efficient workflow.
Monitor instrumentation inventory and communicate anticipated needs to maintain procedural readiness.
Report directly to OR leadership regarding instrumentation, vendor coordination, and equipment-related concerns.
Facilitate communication with vendors regarding on-site support, instrument availability, and replacement needs
