The Role

The Stock Plan Services Administration Specialist role requires an ability to coordinate brokerage specific transactions based on external Plan Sponsor requests. We deliver a world class customer experience. Some of these transactions may involve interpreting instructions from the client. The Representative will need to understand service level agreements and make decisions to maintain client expectations.

This role sits within the Operations team supporting equity compensation plans. The primary responsibility is to manage and execute client-driven requests related to plan configuration and setup. This position requires precision, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate across multiple internal teams to deliver best-in-class client experience.

You work in a team-based role where you will be responsible for day-to-day execution of plan-specific updates either based on a workflow management tool coming directly from our external Plan Sponsors, or our Internal Client Service Managers who are responsible for the overall client relationship. You will need to balance client needs, with Participant experience, and understand the impact updates you make will have on the end participant’s equity compensation balances. There will be daily tasks due to market sensitivity of all the work we are asked to complete.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in Financial Services and/or Equity Compensation, with a strong understanding of stock plan administration concepts preferred
  • Series 7 permitted; Certified Equity Professional (CEP Level 1) encouraged within the first year
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate, timely, and well-controlled execution of client requests, with a focus on participant data and plan configuration updates
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence and risk mitigation in a high-volume environment
  • Client-first mindset, with a passion for delivering world-class customer experience to both internal partners and external Plan Sponsors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate updates, ask thoughtful questions, and build trust with stakeholders
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across Fidelity business partners, including Client Service Managers, Corporate Action Specialists, and Service teams, to achieve shared outcomes
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in issue resolution
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and adapt in a dynamic environment with competing deadlines
