What you’ll achieve
As a Software Engineer 2, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of internal software applications and data systems used by engineering and business teams. Analyzes business requirements/processes and system integration considerations to determine appropriate technology solutions.
You will:
Contributes to enhancements of existing systems and development of new software capabilities
Implements software components across database, service, and application layers with senior‑engineer guidance
Resolves user‑reported issues and supports feature updates and enhancements
Collaborates with business users and technical teams to clarify requirements and ensure solution alignment
Develops and maintains test plans and scripts, logs defects, and assists with troubleshooting, root‑cause, and performance testing

Essential Requirements
Enhances existing systems and contributes to the development of new software features and capabilities
Implement software components across databases, service, and application layers with guidance from senior engineers
Diagnoses and resolves user‑reported issues while supporting feature updates and system enhancements
Collaborates with business and technical stakeholders to refine requirements and develops test artifacts, logs defects, and supports troubleshooting, root‑cause, and performance testing
2–5 years of related experience
Desirable Requirements
Familiarity with modern application development languages and frameworks, with a strong interest in learning automation and AI‑assisted engineering tools
Bachelor’s degree
Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $122,400.00 - $158,400.00.
