Position Overview
Brookfield Credit is seeking an experienced Vice President to lead its Mortgage Loan Servicing (MLS) team. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of middle- and back-office operations for mortgage loans, including loan closing and onboarding, collateral management, transaction processing, and reconciliations. The MLS team also assists our Insurance clients with their Statutory and GAAP accounting and reporting requirements for their Mortgage and Real Estate portfolios. The successful candidate will serve a critical role in overseeing day-to-day operations, as well as leading projects that support our organizational growth (e.g. integrating acquired Real Estate credit portfolios onto the platform).
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Real Estate credit investments, across a broad set of asset classes (e.g. commercial, residential, land), familiarity with a range of investment structures (e.g. rated notes, CLOs) and experience with insurance company servicing requirements.

Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations.
