As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will be responsible for the decontamination, sterilization, and assembly of surgical instruments and trays. This position is critical in maintaining an organized inventory of instruments and ensuring they are ready and safe for use. You’ll work closely with our surgical and healthcare teams to support high-quality patient care.
What You’ll Do
Decontaminate & Sterilize: Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments following department protocols.
Assemble & Inspect: Organize surgical trays, perform quality checks, and inspect instruments for damage or wear.
Manage Inventory: Track and manage instrument and implant inventory, reporting any shortages or issues.
Prepare & Package: Wrap and label instrument sets and trays with precision.
Ensure Quality: Maintain regular quality control, including daily checks on sterilization equipment.
Qualifications
Experience: While experience in sterile processing or healthcare is preferred, we’re open to training motivated individuals who are eager to learn.
Certification (Preferred): Candidates will need to obtain at least one of the following certifications within two years of hire:
International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM)
Certified Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)
Skills:
Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn other software as needed.

Schedule: Evening Shift, 1500-2330, Monday - Friday
