What You’ll Do
As a Sales & Service Manager - ASEAN, you’ll be part of our Industrial team located in Ayutthaya, Thailand. You’ll get to:
- We are seeking a Sales and Service Manager for our Welding and Assembly Systems Vertical to lead our Sales and service team for the ASEAN region (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Philippines) for managing the sales and service functions for our systems Business comprising of Advance Stud welding, Joining Systems and Assembly Equipment (torque DC Tools)
- Includes Managing the sales pipeline, identifying, and pursuing new business opportunities in the ASEAN region, and ensuring our customers receive exceptional service.
- Lead ASEAN Region sales team members to achieve sales targets.
- Establish productive& professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Develops and implement an agreed-upon regional plan which will meet the business goals of increasing sales to the customer base and improving customer satisfaction
- RFQ Study, Techno Commercial Offer Submission, Negotiate and close agreements with customers' Requirements.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
- Liaising with and working alongside sales and Service engineers.
- Offering customer Training.
- Offering feedback on future product development, features, and functions
- Help and assist the BU head to make a budget and strategic plan for the Equipment business based on a business plan, prepare a sales strategy for the Spares Business in the market, and ensure attainment of sales targets and profitability.
- Prepare action plans for direct reports for effectively servicing customers and leads.
- Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
- Implement action plan for penetration into new markets with Demo/Trails/Technical Presentations.
- Ensure inventory is within permissible limits for Spares.
- Ensure that the sales personnel are effectively trained and competent to handle the demands of the customer
- Monitor the Service Team to meet the service standards met at all times and assist them to resolve Customer Complaints and issues.
- Keep a tab on competitor activities and ensure that the management is kept informed about any major happenings in the marketplace.
- Build and update Potential customer database-machine configurations and systems Installed-
- Build a reputation of Stanley Engineered Fastening as a solution provider for relevant customer requirements
- Responsible for the collection of payment and relevant documentation from the customer base
- Coordinate with other departments, including Affiliates, Engineering, manufacturing, and customer service, to ensure that products are delivered on time and meet customer expectations
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to represent the company and promote our products and services
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies, and provide feedback to the product development team regarding customer needs and preferences
- Manage the budget for the sales and service team, ensuring that expenses are managed effectively
Key Result Areas:
- All customer RFQ handled within the agreed time
- Customer feedback on competence and behavior is positive
- Sales figures and trends for Equipment Business in the Entire region including Direct and Distribution based Selling.
- Number and range of contacts per customer.
- Customer retention, new customer generation
- Customer feedbacks
- Training to customers' end users is provided on time and is of the Desired quality and Competence
Who You Are

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/Mechatronics), Experience in Sales & Service responsibilities of Capital Equipment preferably in welding Equipment / Tightening Tools/Joining Solutions /Robotics, etc.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years in After Sales, Service Support, and Maintenance of Welding Equipment, Tightening Tools, etc.-
- Essentials: Understanding automotive OEM’s functioning is a must
- Excellent leadership and communications skills, both written and verbal
- Capable of performing professional presentations and demonstrations for all product types targeted for the region
- Should be self-motivated and ready to take neon w assignments/opportunities.
- Must travel extensively within ASEAN.
- Can develop new sales strategies based on prior experience.
- Is proactive and anticipates potential problems before they can hinder a company’s success.
- Possesses good customer service skills.
