The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely processing of internal and external invoices, company credit card transactions, and payments to contractors and vendors.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage credit card and transaction processing and reconciliation

  • Process invoices and payments

  • Process and verify accuracy of client billing for all transactions

  • Keep accounts accurate and current

  • Process expense reports for internal employees

  • Update and verify contractor information in our accounting system, including direct deposit information and W9

  • Responsible for effectively researching, tracking, and resolving accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies

  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with management, team members and other teams

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and technical skills

  • Well-organized and detail-oriented

  • Able to work well in team environment as well as independently.

  • Customer-service - oriented

  • Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven, high-volume environment

  • Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with others.

  • Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of the organization.

  • Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and procedures, including expense coding

  • Basic knowledge of office applications and accounting software

  • 1099 reporting

  • Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and procedures, including expense coding

  • 1-2 years of accounts payable experience preferred

  • Staffing agency experience preferred

  • Workday experience helpful
