As a SQPE Specialist II, you will lead safety, quality and experience efforts by focusing on tracking and trending SERS data, coordinating patient safety committees and addressing unit concerns. Using your report writing, presentation and data analysis skills, you will identify and procure ways to enhance policies and reduce safety events. A caregiver in this role serves as a Stroke Coordinator—ensuring compliance with stroke certification standards and promoting continuous improvement—and supports quality initiatives across all medical-surgical units. Responsibilities include conducting mortality reviews, monitoring safety indicators, performing chart audits and preparing presentations. The SQPE Specialist will collaborate closely with emergency and neurology teams, engage staff in meeting regulatory standards and work directly with surveyors to maintain accreditation readiness.
A caregiver in this position works Monday through Friday from 8:00AM – 5:00pm. Some flexibility might be required for potential nights or early shifts.
