JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that streamline key finance processes and accelerate the company’s finance transformation strategy. This role will drive the successful planning and execution of enterprise-wide projects, including large-scale systems implementations (e.g., SAP, Workday, Salesforce) in support of the organization's strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate brings deep project leadership expertise, a strong understanding of core finance processes (e.g., Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, ITC, General Ledger, Reporting, Disputes, Intercompany Transactions), and a proven ability to navigate enterprise environments with minimal oversight. This individual will also have experience managing direct reports or leading project resources, and will be responsible for fostering collaboration across finance, technology, and business functions to deliver measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex finance and technology transformation initiatives.

  • Collaborate with finance and IT stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success metrics aligned with strategic goals.

  • Build and manage detailed project plans, identifying dependencies, milestones, and resource needs.

  • Manage project teams including direct reports or assigned resources ensuring alignment, accountability, and motivation across functions.

  • Drive effective communication with executive sponsors, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure transparency and stakeholder alignment.

  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, costs, and issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.

  • Partner with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure high-quality, on-time deliverables that meet requirements and standards.

  • Oversee risk mitigation planning, change management execution, and stakeholder readiness activities.

  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, policies, and audit requirements.

  • Support the management of a portfolio of interdependent projects within the finance transformation roadmap.

Skills:

  • Proven leadership and people management skills, including experience managing direct reports or project-based resources.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across business and technical functions.

  • Ability to work independently and drive accountability in complex, matrixed environments.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences, including senior leadership.

  • Change management expertise, including planning, communication, and execution to support adoption and minimize disruption.

  • Deep understanding of various project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), and the ability to adapt methodology as needed.

  • Strong vendor management experience including contract oversight, SLA monitoring, and third-party integration into project delivery.

  • Strategic and analytical mindset focused on driving results, continuous improvement, and risk mitigation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Operations, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • 7+ years of project or program management experience, including leading large-scale enterprise implementations and cross-functional initiatives.

  • Excellent communication skills in English (B2+ or higher) and ability to collaborate across functions and geographies.

  • Hands-on experience implementing or rolling out ERP and enterprise systems such as SAP, Workday, Salesforce, or Oracle.

  • Familiarity with core finance processes including AP, AR, GL, Reporting, Disputes, and Intercompany Transactions.

  • Experience managing and mentoring team members or project-based resources.

  • Proficiency in project tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, or similar platforms.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
