General Description
The Business Process Excellence Lead drives transformation initiatives that align with business objectives, foster digital innovation, and support enterprise-wide adoption.
This role is specifically focused on enhancing efficiency, scalability, and service quality within Finance and Global Business Services (GBS).
The successful candidate will lead strategic change initiatives with a strong emphasis on process improvement in financial and enterprise support functions, ensuring Aptiv remains agile, competitive, and future-ready.
Identify opportunities to enhance financial and shared service processes using emerging technologies.
Drive adoption of digital tools like RPA, AI, cloud platforms, and data analytics to improve service delivery.
Process Excellence Capabilities
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within Finance and GBS.
Establish frameworks, best practices, and standards to ensure process consistency and quality.
Lead 2–3 cross-functional initiatives focused on Finance/GBS process efficiency and standardization.
Monitor and optimize end-to-end support processes to meet strategic business goals.
Project & Change Management
Plan, execute, and oversee Finance/GBS improvement initiatives within scope, time, and budget.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring successful change implementation across departments.
Equip teams with tools and coaching to support adoption of new practices.
Mitigate risks and ensure stakeholder buy-in throughout the lifecycle of transformation efforts.
Communication
Create and execute communication plans to align stakeholders.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure clarity and adoption.
Maintain open communication with operations teams to address practical challenges.
Required:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
3+ years of experience in Finance or Shared Services process improvement
Strong track record in Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration experience
Ability to lead and implement cross-departmental change in a complex organization
Preferred:
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification
Previous experience working within a Finance transformation or Shared Services environment
