Manager, Pricing Capabilities – Tech Enablement
About the Team
The Pricing Capabilities organization builds and scales the technology and operating mechanisms that enable data-driven pricing decisions and operational excellence. The Tech Enablement team partners across Business, Product, Engineering, Data, and Automation/RPA to translate pricing needs into clear requirements, accelerate delivery, and validate solutions through proof-of-concepts and targeted testing.
Role Summary
As a
Manager, Tech Enablement (Pricing Capabilities), you will be a key bridge between business partners and technology teams—turning pricing strategies and operational needs into crisp, actionable requirements and implementation-ready plans. You will lead requirement discovery and BRD development, coordinate proof-of-concepts, and support prioritization and trade-off decisions to drive measurable business outcomes.
This role enables delivery by ensuring work is well-defined, prioritized, and set up for success. You will partner closely with Product/Engineering and other teams who own build/deploy and sustainment.
What you’ll do…
Prioritization & Stakeholder Alignment - Partner with business stakeholders to understand problems, clarify desired outcomes, and ensure requests align to strategic priorities.
- Support intake readiness by shaping requests into decision-quality proposals (objective, scope, success metrics, dependencies, risks).
- Facilitate alignment discussions across Business, Product, Engineering, Data, and Automation/RPA to drive shared understanding and commitment.
Requirements & Delivery Enablement - Lead end-to-end development of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and supporting artifacts (process maps, data requirements, acceptance criteria, test plans).
- Support backlog shaping and sprint inputs by working with Product/Engineering to define “definition of ready,” clarify trade-offs, and reduce rework.
- Maintain decision logs, dependency tracking, and status visibility to reduce surprises and keep work moving.
Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) & Validation - Coordinate POCs and ad-hoc tests with Automation/RPA and Data partners to validate hypotheses and business value.
- Translate learnings into clear requirements and recommendations for scalable, roadmap-aligned solutions.
- Assist with implementation planning (phasing, change impacts, training/enablement, and launch readiness).
Data Requirements & Analytical Support - Partner with Data/Tech teams to validate data availability, quality, and feasibility tied to requirements.
- Provide analytical and consultative support to functional leaders, turning business strategies into actionable initiatives.
Operational Excellence - Help improve Tech Enablement ways of working (templates, governance routines, intake hygiene, documentation standards).
- Champion a customer-centric mindset and continuous learning across partners.
You’ll sweep us off our feet if you… - Excel at turning ambiguous business asks into crisp, outcome-based requirements and decision-ready BRDs.
- Have strong experience facilitating cross-functional alignment (Business, Product, Engineering, Data, Automation) without direct authority.
- Are comfortable navigating trade-offs—scope, timeline, complexity—and communicating impacts clearly.
- Bring a practical, structured approach to testing/validation and can translate POC learnings into scalable requirements.
- Communicate with clarity and precision—written, verbal, and in stakeholder forums.
You’ll make an impact by… - Increasing speed and quality from intake → requirements readiness → delivery kickoff.
- Reducing churn and rework through clear documentation, aligned decisions, and strong dependency management.
- Validating urgent needs quickly via POCs/tests and converting learnings into roadmap-aligned solutions.
- Strengthening trust and partnership across business and technology teams.
