Your Role on Our Team: 

The Material Handler maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages. 

 

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities: 

  • Check in material on kanban pulls from other cells and place proper kanban cards (40%) 

  • Enter the material received into the computer; Pull parts to fill kanban pulls for other cells and transfer in the computer (30%) 

  • Place material in proper locations; Provide and process movement of material to the point of use.  Inform proper person of material shortage (30%) 

  • Complete stock tickets for service parts and accessories and prepare for shipment (30%) 

  • Physically cycle count components and parts to correlate with in-house inventory and update transactions on the computer (20%) 

  • Maintain and order shipping supplies (10%)  

  • Conduct investigations of receiving/shipping discrepancies (10%) 

  • Perform daily/weekly preventive maintenance as required (10%) 

  • Keep material under and around the assembly area in order and clean.  Dispose of empty boxes and cardboard (10%) 

  • Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area (5%) 

  • Practice and maintain 5Ss (5%) 

 

The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
