RAC Auto Services is the one of the largest automotive businesses in WA with over 10 centres to choose from across the Perth metro, have an opportunity for an experienced Service Centre Manager in the automotive industry to join the Auto Services Team in Bentley.

 

Reporting to the Operations Manager - Auto Services, you will lead and support the team through daily operations to deliver quality services and repairs to members and motorists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of automotive professionals

  • Oversee the operational performance of the service centre in alignment with the Auto Services strategic plan

  • Manage the Centre's key performance indicators, including revenue, profitability, quality assurance, and compliance

  • Monitor and manage health, safety, and environmental compliance

  • Conduct performance planning and staff management in line with RAC policies and procedures

  • Ensure excellence in customer and member service

  • Optimize and grow the existing client base

  • Review, recommend, and implement operational improvements for efficiency

  • Manage inventory, stock, and equipment

  • Serve as the escalation point for customer feedback

  • Participate in retention, recruitment, and selection activities

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in the automotive industry

  • Demonstrated coaching and consultative leadership style

  • Sound sales and business acumen

  • Proven track record in growing an existing client base

  • High-level written and verbal communication, along with strong relationship management skills

  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities

  • Well-developed organizational and planning skills with the ability to multitask

  • Experience in coaching and developing staff to foster a highly engaged work culture.
