We’re looking for the right person to join our Ops Finance team, someone who’s ready to help us deliver on our commitments today and develop global processes to sustain flexibility as the business needs change. The Director of Service Field Ops Finance will partner with Field Operations, Sales & Marketing and our local operating entities to understand the trends in the business and identify opportunities to drive financial performance in the segment. The scope spans all facets of Service Field performance, from portfolio growth to pricing to efficiency to P&L results. This role will analyze monthly results and forecasts across all of these metrics and work with appropriate business partners to identify opportunities.

On a typical day you will:

  • Analyze results and forecasts for Service segment P&L, portfolio, Maintenance and repair pricing and field / cost efficiency.
  • Financial analysis, deep dives, reporting and presentation of results and actions required to achieve financial commitments and support leadership decisions and business reviews.
  • Drive Global KPI development and establish tracking procedures to enhance metric visibility
  • Support identification and business case development of growth and profitability initiatives through cross functional analyses. Partner with cross functional teams.
  • Supervise global IoT (Otis ONE) governance and partner with regional teams to help optimize program results, ensure KPIs/performance is visible through financial reporting and align modeling across regions
  • Assess Maintenance and Repair pricing passed to customer and ensure optimization
  • Supports the S&M function with ad-hoc requests requiring planning, budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling and performance reporting
  • Support PDC departments with functional budgets through planning, monitoring and identifying saving opportunities.
  • Prepare materials to support management presentations and quarterly IR disclosures

What You Will Need to be Successful:

  • Education and Experience : Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience in cost accounting or FP&A
  • Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a focus on continuous improvement
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong PC skills including advanced knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), JD Edwards, Smart View, and QlikView preferred
  • A demonstrated attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with all levels of a global organization
