Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires collaborating with various stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional software solutions. The position demands continuous engagement in refining application features and ensuring alignment with organizational goals, while adapting to evolving business environments and technological advancements.

- Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.
- Should have Influencing and Advisory skills.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the evaluation and integration of new technologies to enhance application performance and scalability.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Project Management (PM).
- Strong expertise in project planning, execution, and delivery within Workday environments.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate complex project activities effectively.
- Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies related to software development projects.
- Skilled in stakeholder communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Competence in utilizing project management tools and methodologies to ensure timely and quality deliverables.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Workday Project Management (PM).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
