The main responsibility of the role is to achieve the Ad Sales Budgets based on price, inventory and industry analysis overseeing all operations in order to fulfil this task.
Maintain and develop existing relationships with clients and agencies, this includes incentive negotiations with agencies and PR relationships with direct clients.
Develop Marketing strategies along with the Marketing team, in order to continue positioning our properties in the top of mind of all Mexican audience and clients.
Develop and sell Branded Content to clients, as well as multiplatform campaigns.
All the tasks above are always made taking into account our DPTI target.
Areas of Responsibility
Key accountabilities (up to 6) and required results of the role. Please include % of time spent in each area.
May correspond to the performance goals that you anticipate setting / have set for this role
MAJOR ACTIVITIES
1. Negotiate incentive models for top agencies.
Ex. Annual Negotiations with Top Agencies, such as IPG, Group M, etc..
2. Day to day tracking and follow up of forecast, revenues (by manager and executive) in order to achieve monthly goals.
Ex. Daily report of revenues and along with the managers try to identify Risks & Opportunities
3. PR with clients in order to grow the existing opportunities.
Dinners, meals, trips.
4. Participate in internal regional meetings, Regional committees, weekly calls, etc..
5. Forecasting annual and long range office revenues and budgets, including LRP´s and T&E .
6.Responsible of the implementation and follow up of the Mexico Ad Sales annual strategy, aligned to the regional stategy.
Follow up to AUR, Revenues, Top Clients, Churn, Branded Content, Digital, etc…

Where applicable, provide information about the size of the organization managed, operating budget, revenue responsibility, number of employees, geographical scope, strategic impact (extent to which this role has control over the plan/strategy/priorities of his/her department and/or function) or other quantitative data pertinent to this position.
Geographical Scope: Mexico (in some cases we foresee regional accounts)
Job Requirements / Skills
Essential
1. Fluent in English and Spanish
2. Broad knowledge and experience in media (Broadcast TV, Pay TV, Print, Digital, etc..)
3. Experience in managing and leading teams of at least 5 people
4.Years of experience: 10 or more in the entertainment industry.
5.Ability to work under pressure
6. Above average skills in negotiation.
7.Degree or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, communications.
8. General knowledge of local market, players (competitors) and clients.
9. Other: Strategic and analytical mindset.
Desirable
1. Diploma or equivalent experience in Digital, leadership , strategic planning.
2. Experience in production sales.
3. Ability to travel constantly
4. Degree or equivalent experience in MBA
