About the Role

The Senior Technical Consultant is responsible for the effective implementation of LexisNexis Risk Solutions’ products across all delivery channels (e.g., XML, Web Services, hosted web application) for clients across diverse Risk verticals. This role involves third-level escalation support to sustain and enhance client-generated revenue through technical and business process consulting services directly to clients. The consultant will engage with sales, product, and support teams, other relevant internal staff, and provide post-production transition support.

Responsibilities

  • Providing technical integration and consulting services directly to clients in financial services, collections, healthcare, government, law enforcement, and insurance verticals.

  • Applying deep technical knowledge and Financial Crime Compliance expertise to assist clients, sharing insights in data science as relevant, though the role is not a data science position.

  • Delivering installation, implementation, and configuration support, proficient in XML and JSON formats, and maintains up-to-date implementation project plans.

  • Communicating complex technical terms effectively to clients with varied levels of technical understanding.

  • Utilizing expertise in Excel, Power BI, and programming languages like C#, Python, and PowerShell to provide advanced third-level support to clients.

  • Leading technical presentations and product demonstrations, highlighting integration capabilities with LexisNexis Risk Solutions’ products.

  • Participating in and contributes to departmental projects aimed at enhancing team productivity.

  • Engaging in ongoing training and personal skill development to support client needs and departmental goals.


Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 5+ years of experience required.

  • Experience in Financial Crime Compliance across sectors such as financial services, collections, healthcare, government, law enforcement, or insurance preferred.

  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time as required.

  • Have proficiency in XML, JSON, Excel, Power BI, and programming in C#, Python, and PowerShell.

  • Must have experience in data formats and transformations with a solid understanding of software development and database systems.

  • Must have experience using data quality concepts and tools to resolve issues.

  • Possess advanced analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex business problems and develop effective solutions.

  • Previous experience working with LexisNexis products and a hands-on technical problem-solving background preferred.

  • Possess a strong ability to convey technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Able to collaborate with teams, solicit input, and manage conflict effectively.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills including solid written, verbal, and presentation skills.
