Job Description​

The Opportunity:


Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City is looking for a Business Relationship Manager (BRM). This person will have a critical technology role in identifying, analyzing, understanding and delivering on business partner strategic goals over the long term.  This role develops and enhances the strategic relationship between technology and business partners to stimulate, surface, and shape demand, translating executive and business function leadership strategy to a shared roadmap. They will translate ideas into value propositions which are validated against organizational priorities and prioritized, and ensure meaningful results are realized for enterprise strategic technology initiatives.


The Work:

  • Implements demand management analysis and planning activities.
  • Provides advice to help business partners/stakeholders adopt and adhere to the agreed demand management approach.
  • Manages the process of integrating demand management with complementary strategic, operational and change management processes.
  •  Reviews new business proposals and partners with the business to develop the justification.
  •  Engages with and influences senior business partners to improve the business value delivered from new or existing technology services and products.
  • Works with business partners to agree and implement short-term and medium-term modifications to demand as needed.
  • Maintains awareness of the global technology needs of business partners across the organization.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with others on the promotion, acquisition, development, and implementation of technology products and services.
  • Develops and communicates plans to drive forward the strategy and related demand planning.
  • Contributes to creating and reviewing a systems capability strategy which meets the business's strategic goals and requirements.
  • Plans, schedules and monitors portfolio-related activities ensuring that each part of the portfolio contributes to the overall achievement of the technology roadmap. Reports on portfolio status as appropriate.
  • Takes responsibility for understanding business partner roadmaps, ensuring that reliable cost, effort and risk estimates and project plans are produced by aligned project leaders.
  • Collaborates with, and facilitates stakeholder groups, as part of formal or informal consultancy roles with business partners.  Continuously engages with business partners and maintains favorable relationships and Technology engagement.
