What you will do:
Perform Account Reconciliation for assigned entities.
Investigate and resolve unsupported balances.
Provide support to business on request related to journal/recon backups.
Escalate any unusual activity or aged items to management which enables a proactive response to potential risks and related losses.
Financial Statement analysis.
Prepare journal entries calculations.
Perform month end closing process and any request as necessary
Comply with Corporate accounting policies, US and local GAAP.
Performs other related work to accounting cycle.
What you need:
Strong knowledge of end-to-end accounting processes, including solid accounting principles and full accounting cycle management.
Intermediate English skills
Desirable experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or QAD.
High school diploma required; technical degree in accounting or finance is desirable.
2–3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles within a matrixed international company (preferably American or multinational), involving complex reporting practices and exposure to various reporting systems.
Previous experience working in a shared service center within a large/global organization is a strong advantage.
