About the Role
this position will be a key part of the Business Partner team supporting the business growth agenda by ensuring the right information, is with the right stakeholders at the right time. This person will need to be a self-starter with a broad business mindset who can work on their own initiative and as part of a team and acts with drive, determination and resilience and has an innate ability to build strong cross functional relationships and to challenge the status quo.Partner with Group Functions to ensure they have an appropriate understanding of their cost performance and associated variances to prior year and budget.
Functional costs validation and reporting, manage month end accounting ensuring where required appropriate accruals and prepayments are put in place.
Be key point of contact on finance enquiries that require root cause analysis and rectification.
Prepare the quarterly forecast, annual budget, and projection, ensuring the completeness and accuracy and aligned to budgeted allocations.
Support the Group Functions in informing, inputting into and steering direction on priorities.
Provide timely analysis of key business performance indicators across our business bringing understanding and insight to variances.
Prepare monthly management reporting including management account, byline and longsheet reconciliation and report generation and/or etc.
Improve the impact and understanding of financial reporting on business performance.
Prepare monthly billing and yearly true up adjustments based on actual cost incurred and allocations.
Prepare applicable local statutory adjustments on year end.
Develop and update Control Checklist, Training Materials and Business Process Manuals as and when new enhancement is identified, implemented and communicated for the current process and workflow to ensure continuity in the team.
Review or perform UAT as and when required.
Master data maintenance
Job Requirements:
University Degree in accountancy or Accounting Professional Qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, MICPA) - with a combination of experience in Finance & Accounting, such as GL and FP&A
At least 6 years’ experience in financial and accounting related field in an MNC environment.
At least 2 years supervisory and management experience in the above position
Experience in a shared services, Group Functions or similar environment providing general accounting and reporting and analysis services to external/internal stakeholders.
