Job Summary**
Hitachi, Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced SAP MM Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP Materials Management solutions to meet business requirements and optimize supply chain processes.
Job Responsibilities**
* Participate in all phases of SAP MM implementation projects, including requirements gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.
* Analyze business processes and provide expert recommendations for SAP MM solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Configure SAP MM modules, including Master Data (Material Master, Vendor Master, Info Records, Source Lists), Purchasing (PR, PO, RFQ, Contracts, Release Strategy), Inventory Management (GR, GI, Transfers, Physical Inventory), and Invoice Verification (MIRO).
* Develop and execute test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other SAP module consultants (SD, FI/CO, PP, QM, WM), developers, and business users, to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
* Provide training and support to end-users on SAP MM functionalities and best practices.
* Troubleshoot and resolve SAP MM-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
* Create and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP MM functionalities, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
* Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as an SAP MM Consultant, with at least 1 full lifecycle SAP MM implementations.
* Strong understanding of SAP MM business processes and configuration expertise across all sub-modules.
* Experience with S/4HANA is highly preferred.
* Proficiency in integrating SAP MM with other SAP modules (SD, FI/CO, PP, QM, WM).
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* SAP MM certification is a plus.
* Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
