As a Surgical Account Manager, you be responsible for maintaining and building Alcon Surgical Disposable and Instrumentation market shares.  You will optimize the relationship of Alcon with the ophthalmologists and all other persons involved who advise or use Alcon products, increase sales on equipment and upgrade current installed equipment to latest technology with the main target on Cataract Accounts for Inland territory; Gauteng East, Vaal Triangle and Johannesburg North West. You will:

• Achieve target sales

• Increase the number of equipment installed

• Detailing new products and marketing initiatives to the account base in a targeted way.

• Conducting training

• Planning, coordinating, and management of call plans and meetings

• Market intelligence feedback

• Ensure that all territory administration is completed efficiently as necessary

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry or minimum 2 years of experience in sales ophtalmology

  • BSC in the biomedical field nice to have

  • Fluency in English

  • Must be based in Gauteng

  • Driving license

  • Preference will be given to candidates from previously disadvantaged groups
