Capital Automotive Group Inc./ DBA Capital AutomallThe Business Development Center (BDC) Internet Sales Specialist will focus on increasing the sales traffic of the dealership and handling all inbound internet leads. They will also engage in making outbound sales calls, and emails related, but not limited to Lease Retention, Internet Inquiries, Phone ups, Sold, Unsold Showroom Traffic and follow up calling efforts. The objective of this activity is to obtain appointments for the sales staff. The BDC acts as the essential communications links between the client and the showroom Sales team. The BDC must be friendly, articulate, enthusiastic, and a self-motivated team player. The BDC must also have outstanding communication skills, a positive attitude and an excellent work ethic.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engaging in all training directed by the BDC Manager
Following the BDC scripts and guidelines on all inbound and outbound calls
Ensuring that all calls presented are answered promptly and professional
Acquire a complete knowledge of product information related to the makes and models of the dealership(s)
Developing proficiency with all features of the BDC CRM Software and associated products
Ensuring that all information entered into BDC systems is consistent and accurate
Maintaining knowledge of coupons, direct mail pieces, all sales advertising and inventory throughout the company and its OEMs
Maintain a current knowledge of schedules of personnel throughout the dealerships and build strong relationships with staff to provide them adequate support - the dealership(s) assigned may vary depending on the needs of the businesses
Maintain a thorough understanding and adherence to dealership and BDC department policies and procedures
Endeavor to meet and exceed hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly individual goals as communicated by the BDC Manager
Maintain the essential communication link between the client and the dealership(s)
Ensure that all communications to and from the client and to and from the sales department is passed on effectively and quickly
Must possess strong organizational skills, time management skills, and the ability to multitask
Demonstrating the ability to interact effectively with dealer personnel at all levels
Maintain strict confidentiality of customer information, as well as dealership processes, and marketing strategies
Maintain a professional code of conduct at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1-2 years of experience and success in customer service, sales, call center, telemarketing or automotive BDC positions
High school diploma or the equivalent
Computer literate and able to demonstrate familiarity with typical office systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
Willing to engage in ongoing training
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Previous experience and success in customer service, sales, call center, telemarketing or automotive BDC positions is an asset.
Ability to work well under pressure
Skilled at building positive relationships over the phone or via email
Professional personal appearance
Excellent communication skills
Must have schedule flexibility to accommodate the dealership's needs, including availability for evenings, weekends, and the ability to work at different dealership locations as required.
