Data Research Supervisor.

We are seeking a Data Research Supervisor with strong research and technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to think strategically and solve complex problems. The Research Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering custom market research studies, overseeing secondary research from proposal writing through final deliverables, and managing day-to-day client relationships.

Your Role.

Provide research support on large and mid-sized projects, including developing and executing research studies, creating client presentations, and managing project scoping, costing, and budgets.
Understand client objectives and recommend appropriate research methodologies to meet those needs.
Interpret research data and insights, working with analysts to create compelling narratives.
Write questionnaires and guides that align with research objectives with minimal oversight from senior leadership, leveraging data tabulations to conduct analysis.
Oversee advanced analytic methodologies, working closely with the data science team.
Manage social listening tools, conduct desk research, and scope third-party data specifications.
Collaborate with analysts to ensure client objectives are met throughout the project.
Independently manage small to medium-sized research projects with senior oversight.
Oversee client budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines, spend, and staffing plans, while proactively identifying potential issues.
Contribute to new business development by working with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities, write proposals, and develop case studies.
Mentor and supervise analysts and/or interns.

Qualifications.


A BA/BS degree in a related field, with at least five years of experience in qualitative and quantitative research.
At least 5 years of experience in similar roles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on presentation design.
Experience using secondary research tools such as social media analysis platforms such as Talkwalker, Sysomo, Factiva, Lexis/Nexis, and market or financial analyst reporting.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines within project scopes and budgets.
Effective internal and external client management skills.
