Location: Remote in the US

Division: Marketplace Support

Line Manager: Director, Event Programming Technology

Contract Terms: Full-Time, Permanent, 40 hours per week

THE TEAM

The Event Programming Technology team focuses on all product and technology elements of event programming for all Live Nation ticketing platforms, with a focal point of Ticketmaster Host and Microflex platforms. This stellar team develops and evolves innovative solutions to advance all elements of event programming for internal teams, along with B2B products.

THE JOB

Reporting to the Director of Event Programming Technology, the Project Manager leads projects to improve the tools, workflows, and strategies used in Event Programming. This role requires gathering and analyzing requirements, conducting thorough fact-finding, managing stakeholders, planning development tasks, and ensuring successful implementation. The Project Manager ensures that deliverables align with company objectives, stakeholder needs, and technical feasibility. The Project Manager works both independently and collaboratively on key initiatives that align with company goals related to all aspects of Event Programming.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Evaluating existing tools and methods for comparable functionality and identify current workflows for improvement.
  • Establishing and validating product requirements by engaging with stakeholders and other cross-team collaboration.
  • Governing global development roadmaps for B2B and internal products related to timely and efficient Event Programming.
  • Monitoring global workflow and accuracy to identify opportunities for innovations and product updates to improve accuracy and efficiency in Event Programming.
  • Assessing and documenting new feature requests and bug reports from both internal and B2B users and working with the related development teams to develop and test solutions.
  • Providing expert support to operational teams on new and unique challenges and applying that experience to future development of product solutions.
  • Maintaining excellent knowledge of the day-to-day challenges for Event Programming teams to inform prioritization of a wide variety of projects.
  • Coordinating or executing quality testing of innovative operational updates via test events, products, and procedures to ensure products are functioning properly before release.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)

  • At least 2 years of Event Programming or related experience
  • Good knowledge of other Ticketmaster/Microflex products and teams including the fan experience and client tools
  • Knowledge of database structures in Microflex or other ticketing platforms is a plus
  • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills required
  • Proven problem-solving, time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and generate creative solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Flexibility that allows effective teamwork with people at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with both business people and software engineers
  • Ability to negotiate for competing resources and to generate consensus among multiple priorities
  • Must be able to have topic related discussions with each of the groups you work with, understanding the results of those conversations
  • Can work independently while working collaboratively

$48,000.00 USD - $60,000.00 USD
