Key Responsibilities Customer Nurture and Sales Experience

· Connect and build partnerships with customers who have expressed interest in purchasing a vehicle with DriveTime.

o Execute the DriveTime Nurture process to engage with interested customers and progress them forward in their car buying journey.

o Guide customers through a world class tailored customer experience when they visit the dealership, utilizing the DriveTime sales process.

· Introduce customers to the DriveTime family of companies as they begin their path of ownership.

· Execute the Daily Strategy as set by the General Manager.

· Know the dealership Inventory, website, OET experience, financing, and all related sales processes(trades, Upgrades, post sale, etc) to be the DriveTime expert.

· Commitment to development of sales skills like negotiation, core competencies, customer experience skills, etc.

Team Experience

· Maintains a high level of awareness to provide assistance to customers and/or team members as needed.

· Actively contributes to personal development through feedback, personal performance improvement, training, and development.

· Training Partner for incoming new hire Sales and Operations Advisors.

· Engages in an efficient and highly effective team through collaborative employee relationships.

· Understands and executes company directives, initiatives, and expectations.

· Participates in a healthy, positive, and safe employment environment for all employees.

· Partner with other Sales and Operations Advisors to complete tasks and responsibilities, meeting customer and company needs.

Operational Excellence

· Responsible for Opening/Closing the store, Cash handling, Sales, Nurture, and basic to high level operations and inventory tasks.

· Responsible for performing high level tactical activities including sales, operations, and inventory management including Huddles, sales process touchpoints, Service Drive management, and operational audits.

· Responsible for all sale related items like tags, title/registration, etc

· Understands and executes all administrative responsibilities including but not limited to deal documentation and cash handling, meeting company provided expectations.

· Receives and executes assignments from the General Manager regarding optimization of talent and daily operational duties.

· Understands and executes proper merchandising and quality control of inventory and ensures front line readiness at all times.

· Point of Contact for Dealership Communications and Escalations.

Sales and Operations Advisor – Phase Descriptions

A multi-phase position that utilizes a learn and earn approach to arrive at the final phase of the position within 5-6 months of hire. Once certified in a phase, the individual is responsible for the expectations of that phase as well as the previous phases and takes an active role in the day-to-day operation of the dealership.

· Level 0 – New Hire Trainee, learning role only.

· Level 1 – Responsible for executing the DriveTime Sales Process proficiently.

· Level 2 – Responsible for executing Nurture activities, Sales, and basic operations and inventory tasks.

· Level 3 – Responsible for Opening/Closing the store, Cash handling, Sales, Nurture, and mid-level operations and inventory tasks.

· Level 4 – Responsible for performing high level tactical activities including sales, operations, and inventory management including Huddles and Sales Process touchpoints.
