Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and providing support to end-users. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the improvement of system performance and stability. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by end-users. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve application-related incidents. - Monitor application performance and identify areas for improvement. - Contribute to the development and implementation of application support processes and procedures. - Provide training and support to end-users on application usage and functionality. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Linux, AWS Administration. - Strong understanding of system administration and troubleshooting in a Linux environment. - Experience with AWS services and administration, including EC2, S3, and VPC. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash or Python. - Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios or Zabbix. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with DevOps tools and practices. - Recommendation: Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Linux. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A Btech is required.
