About the role
This role is based in one of our German offices and reports to the Head of the Innovation, Design & Technology, with a dotted line reporting to the COO of Germany.
This role exists to drive innovation and change across our German offices and relevant practice areas, by delivering legal transformation projects that enhance the quality, efficiency and value of legal service delivery.
Whilst based in Germany, the role will work closely with other members of the IDT team to support innovation work across our other European offices, and more broadly across EMEAPAC.
To be successful in this role, candidates will need to (i) engage with lawyers to understand their needs and expectations, (ii) collaborate closely with colleagues from different functions and locations to identify synergies and implement solutions, (iii) manage project scope and timelines and manage the expectations of key stakeholders, (iv) coach and train lawyers and the teams that support them on new tools and working approaches, and (v) continuously measure and communicate the impact and benefits of what has been recommended or implemented.
About you
You have a legal background and ideally experience working in transformation, focused on innovation or technology. You are passionate about improving the delivery of legal services. You have a growth mindset and a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments. You are a team player and a networker, who can build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and can have difficult conversations when required. You are a problem solver and a creative thinker, who can generate and test ideas, and iterate based on feedback. You are a leader and a change agent, who can inspire and influence others to embrace new ways of working. You are resilient and flexible.
