About the Role
Provide Magnet Resonance Imaging services to the patients of St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, St Vincent’s Private Hospital and Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital.
Fulfill clinical duties through performing a diverse range of routine and complex MRI examinations to a high diagnostic standard, with the level of expertise of an independent clinician.
Demonstrate an extensive level of technical ability, knowledge and experience within all areas of MRI, including advanced techniques.
Participate in an in-hours and out-of-hours roster across all MRI shifts, including on-call as required.
Classifications for this position will range from AG1-CW5 ($88,415 - $101,691 per annum pro rata)
Your Contribution
Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiation or equivalent.
National registration with AHPRA to practice as a Medical Imaging Technologist.
Level 1 Accreditation or Post-graduate qualification in MRI
Demonstrated extensive or advanced clinical competency, knowledge and experience in MRI.
Ability to contribute effectively as a participative team member within a multidisciplinary team environment, promoting a positive and supportive culture.
Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

About the Medical Imaging Team
St Vincent’s Medical Imaging (MI) provides four comprehensive diagnostic imaging programs across three campus sites.
The MRI centre is located within the Fitzroy precinct, and consists of three Magnetic Resonance Imaging machines. The centre provides a comprehensive MRI service to inpatients and outpatients, including complex and specialised scans.
