The Opportunity:


The Logistics Analyst supports the Customer by providing technical expertise to monitor, review, and manage Logistics services as a Contractor Inventory Control Point within a Contractor Supported Weapons System. This includes ensuring the timely Cataloging of all property with a valid National Stock Number, supporting Logistics Reassignments for common-use parts, ensuring accurate system records in the information management system to compute and electronically push retail stock level data using Readiness leveling methodology, and providing total item management to include re-distribution orders to retail and wholesale activities

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on item management and logistics-related issues within the organization.
  • Perform functions in various Databases such as GOLDesp, Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), Integrated Logistics System-Supply (ILS-S), D035E, D143, and other Government approved systems.
  • Responsible for implementing and performing a variety of responsibilities related to Cataloging, Logistics Reassignments, and Wholesale Inventory Management.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Analyze logistical data related to item management, including usage trends, demand forecasting, and supply chain performance metrics.
  • Prepare and present reports on supply chain status, item availability, and logistics performance to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to all statutes, FAR, DFAR, DoD, USAF, USSF, and relevant policies & procedures affecting logistics to maintain Financial Improvement Audit Remediation (FIAR) compliance.



Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Active SECRET Clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics analysis, supply chain management, or a related field, preferably within the aerospace or Satellite Control Network. - Must be able to read, write, and clearly speak English.

Desired:

  • Proficiency in logistics management software and tools (e.g. PIEE, DPAS, ILS-S, GOLDesp. or similar enterprise resource planning systems).
  • Strong data analysis skills, with proficiency in Microsoft products (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles, including demand planning & forecasting, inventory control, and transportation management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to DoD logistics.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$56,000-$117,500
