Role Purpose: Support journey of Interdependent Safety Culture at Site

 Execute Health and Safety Roadmap for Zero Harm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
  • Support safety training initiatives, ensuring employees are aware of and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Safety Manager in investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses, and participate in root cause analysis.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of health and safety regulations and contribute to organizational compliance.
  • Work with department managers to integrate safety measures into daily operations and projects.
  • Assist in emergency response planning and conduct drills to enhance preparedness.
  • Contribute to the analysis of safety performance metrics, providing valuable insights for improvement.
  • Engage in regulatory interactions and assist in safety audits and inspections.
  • Provide support in updating safety records and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Engineering/ Master of Science + Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety/Master’s in Industrial safety

    Experience:

    Having 4 - 5 Years relevant experience

  • Skills & competencies:

  • Relevant Industrial experience of Industrial Health and Safety
  • Well versed with applicable HSE legal requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in safety management, with a good understanding of industry-specific risks and regulations.
  • Effective communication skills to assist in training and conveying safety information to employees.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to contribute to incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with safety management software and tools is advantageous.
