Position Summary:
 

The Event Receptionist is responsible for providing excellent guest service during KFC Yum! Center events. Primary responsibilities include answering the main telephone line using the phone operating system, directing calls, taking and relaying messages, greeting on-site visitors, and directing guests to correct destination. This position requires the employee to work a varied work schedule and be available during KFC Yum! Center events, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

$14.00 per hour
 

Essential Functions:

  • Operates the KFC Yum! Center's phone system in order to effectively respond to callers.
  • Maintains a professional demeanor in order to provide callers with address, directions and other relevant venue/event information.
  • Transfers phone calls in order to direct callers to appropriate personnel.
  • Provides general clerical and administrative support to department managers as needed.
  • Serves as point of contact during events and responds to guests' questions, comments, and complaints effectively and calmly.
  • Receives, sorts, and routes incoming mail and packages so that all deliveries are properly distributed.
  • Follows all operating policies and procedures in order to maintain company confidentiality.
  • Maintains cleanliness of general office area and work space.


Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of 0-1 years of related work experience
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and telephone skills
  • Must be able to memorize, recollect and quickly retrieve relevant information
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills when interacting with guests, vendors and employees
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision
