Technical Support Representative
What You Will Do
As a Technical Support Representative, you will provide post-commissioning support for Controls products, acting as a key point of contact for field engineers and customers. You will resolve complex technical issues, support system configuration and troubleshooting activities, and ensure accurate data management across Service and Systems operations. Working closely with local teams and central support functions, you will help deliver excellent customer service, meet contractual commitments, and drive operational efficiency. This role also supports equipment logistics, compliance requirements, job tracking, and business reporting activities.

How You Will Do It
- Provide technical support to field engineers and customers following the commissioning of Controls products.
- Investigate, diagnose and resolve complex product, system and application issues.
- Support system configuration, software updates and ongoing maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records and data within business and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Coordinate the movement of equipment and materials to support operational requirements.
- Ensure field teams meet local licence, certification and compliance requirements.
- Support management with job tracking, reporting and financial administration activities.
- Work closely with central support functions and local operational teams to deliver programme objectives.
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide timely, professional resolutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, service delivery and customer satisfaction.
What We Are Looking For
Required:
- Degree qualified with at least 1 year of relevant experience; or
- Higher National Diploma (HND), foundation degree or equivalent qualification with at least 6 years of relevant experience; or
- An equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and business systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting building controls, building automation or HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of service delivery and field operations processes.
- Experience using ERP or service management systems.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a customer-focused environment.
