We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining an enterprise-level Microsoft Power BI environment. A successful candidate will ensure the smooth operation, security, and optimal performance of Power BI services and solutions. You may also work with Tableau and Python data visualizations as needed. The role involves leveraging Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform as primary data sources, along with other data sources required by our business stakeholders. A strong understanding of deployment pipelines and relevant Microsoft certifications are preferred.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Power BI dashboards and visualizations to support business decision-making processes.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the delivery of actionable insights.

  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various data sources, with a focus on Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform.

  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all BI solutions.

  • Develop and maintain deployment pipelines for BI reports and dashboards.

  • Perform data modeling, analysis, and optimization to ensure high performance of BI solutions.

  • Provide support and troubleshooting for BI solutions, addressing any issues promptly.

  • Utilize Tableau, Python and other data visualization tools for BI tasks as required.

  • Stay updated with the latest BI and data visualization technologies and industry best practices.

Education: 

Bachelors Degree or Equivalent  Experience - Required

Other Certification(s):  Microsoft Certified credentials - Preferred

Essential Qualifications and Functions: 

  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Microsoft Power BI Architect or similar role with

Deep Knowledge of Power BI architecture, development, and administration.

Advanced Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in using Power BI to develop complex reports, dashboards, and reports.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, SQL, and experience with ETL processes and and data modeling.

Project Leadership: Experience leading or managing BI projects, including gathering requirements, designing solutions, and overseeing implementation.

Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, stakeholders, to deliver effective BI solutions.

Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS)

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Relevant Microsoft certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience mentoring or training junior developers and providing guidance on best practices.
     

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
