Summary: WAN, SDWAN, Internet –ISP Expert - L3 Network Engineer will possess expertise in WAN, SD-WAN, Internet/ISP management, and cloud interconnect solutions. The role involves end-to-end ownership of complex network environments, advanced troubleshooting, and architectural input for enterprise-scale infrastructure.? Candidates must hold a Cisco CCIE (Enterprise Infrastructure) certification and demonstrate hands-on experience with routing protocols, SD-WAN platforms, and carrier-grade connectivity solutions.? Roles & Responsibilities: - Act as L3 escalation point for critical issues in WAN, SD-WAN, and Internet connectivity.? - Responsible for managing action plans and future requests, including automation initiatives.? - Implement enterprise routing and traffic engineering solutions using BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and policy-based routing.? - Administer and optimize SD-WAN environments (Cisco Viptela or equivalent) for performance, segmentation, and security.? - Strong knowledge of CISCO Meraki configurations. ? - Oversee Internet service provider (ISP) relationships, escalations, and global circuit performance.? - Design and support interconnects with cloud providers (e.g., AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute).? - Root cause analysis and network optimization initiatives.? - Drive automation and standardization across WAN configurations and deployments.? - Maintain technical documentation, HLDs/LLDs, and operational runbooks.? - Provide guidance and technical leadership to L1.5/L2 support teams along with knowledge transfer Professional & Technical Skills: - ?5–12 years of experience in enterprise or service provider networking.? - Expert in CISCO Meraki and WAN technologies.? - General Routing protocol BGP OSP EIGRP for datacenter routing and cloud interconnection ? - Expert knowledge on Cloud routing (Azure express route, Azure WAN and AWS Direct Connect etc…)? - Advanced knowledge SD-WAN architectures and configurations.? - Knowledge of CISCO Viptela maybe an added advantage? - Hands-on experience with:? ISP/MPLS/DIA/Internet edge routing? Cloud connectivity (AWS, Azure, GCP interconnect options)? - Familiarity with QoS, failover strategies, and multihoming scenarios along with proficiency in performance tuning, log correlation (basic Splunk), traffic analytics. ? - Exposure to network automation, scripting (Python, Ansible), and monitoring (NetFlow, SNMP, etc.). Additional Information: - Strong leadership in network design and incident handling with excellent communication and stakeholder management? - Ability to operate in high-pressure, 24/7 support environments with a strategic mindset with attention to detail and documentation? - Proven track record in global enterprise or carrier-grade environments - Certification - Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE – Enterprise Infrastructure)
