Key Responsibilities (Roles & Responsibilities)

1. Wiring Harness Components Procurement

Procure wiring harness parts—wires, connectors, terminals, clips, sleeves, tapes, and sub-assemblies. Track lead times, costs, MOQs, and delivery schedules with suppliers. Raise and monitor purchase requests as needed. Support cost tracking and basic analyses.

2. Lab Inventory Management

Keep precise inventory records for wiring harness parts, consumables, and test materials. Monitor stock levels, usage, and safety margins. Ensure materials match lab schedules and engineering needs. Flag obsolete or excess items and arrange disposal. Help with regular audits and reconciliations.

3. Engineering & Lab Schedule Coordination

Collaborate with design and engineering teams on upcoming builds and tests. Convert plans into material requirements and lab readiness schedules. Manage slot planning, material prep, and build order. Provide updates on material status, risks, and schedule changes.

4. Import / Export & Compliance Support

Assist with import/export of wiring harness parts and lab equipment. Handle documentation— invoices, packing lists, HS codes, shipment tracking. Work with logistics and compliance teams for timely clearance. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

5. Business Process & Data Support

Streamline lab procurement, inventory, and scheduling processes. Maintain trackers, dashboards, and reports on material status, supplier performance, inventory health, and lab use. Identify and address process gaps or inefficiencies. Assist with audits and management reporting.

6. Stakeholder Coordination & Communication

Coordinate among engineering, lab, procurement, logistics, and suppliers. Communicate risks, delays, and changes affecting lab operations. Support issue resolution with structured follow-up and documentation.

Required Qualifications

Education

  •  Bachelor’s degree in any discipline |

Experience

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following domains:
    • Wiring harness labs ,Engineering procurement or material planning ,Lab inventory or stores management,Supplier coordination and logistics support
