GEICO is seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Legal Initiatives & Project Coordinator in the Legal Department primarily to support operational initiatives. This position provides broad range of project support and requires excellent communication and task management skills, as well as interacting confidentially with all levels of leadership.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Experience in management consulting and/or within law departments or law firms is preferred.
Must have strong technical skills, including MS Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
Ability to analyze metrics, using tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI strongly preferred.
An individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and work collaboratively with teams across all levels.
Attention to detail and discretion are required as well as strong communication skills, good judgment and sense of urgency.
Primary Responsibilities:
Define, launch, and drive strategic and operational initiatives for the Legal Department.
Develop work plans, gather and synthesize relevant data, lead analyses, develop final recommendations and
implement solutions.
Establish schedules and priorities; monitor and update project information, create documentation, reports, and related work throughout the project lifecycle.
Review and/or develop business and administrative processes.
Assists in day-to-day needs of the Legal Department.
Location: Hybrid – This individual must be able to work onsite 3 days per week out of our Chevy Chase, MD location.
