What you'll be doing

As a Candidate Engagement Specialist within the Talent Acquisition – Centre of Excellence, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how CIBC connects with prospects and candidates. You'll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our candidate engagement assets, including talent pools and campaigns. . You'll manage the intake and execution of new engagement requests, build and oversee brand compliant campaigns in Workday, and collaborate closely with the Employer Brand & Attraction team to create compelling creative assets. Your expertise will help drive quarterly planning sessions, refresh campaign content, and ensure compliance with translation and accessibility requirements. You'll monitor campaign performance, provide actionable insights to the Senior Leadership Team, and uphold CIBC’s commitment to governance and brand excellence.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you'll succeed

  • Asset Management & Maintenance – Oversee annual clean-up of candidate engagement assets, maintain talent pools and candidate tags, and archive inactive campaigns and landing pages.
  • Campaign Intake & Execution – Manage intake, prioritization, and timelines for new engagement initiatives, serving as the primary contact for campaign requests.
  • Campaign Building & Optimization – Configure and execute planned email/SMS campaigns, events, and landing pages in Workday and Recruitment Marketing tools; develop and approve new templates.
  • Content Calendar Management – Maintain a consolidated campaign calendar and conduct quarterly planning sessions with the Employer Brand team.
  • Creative Collaboration – Partner with Employer Brand to develop notification/email templates and landing page designs, maintain shared creative assets, and ensure videos are properly stored.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting – Track analytics for campaigns and events, providing regular reporting and actionable insights to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Governance & Compliance – Ensure translation and accessibility requirements are met, and maintain alignment with CIBC brand and marketing standards.

Who you are

  • You’re an exceptional storyteller. You excel at communicating results and insights in a compelling way.
  • You have relevant experience. You bring 3-5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Marketing, or Communications, and hold a post-secondary degree.
