The Client Executive Manager is a senior management-level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department to raise funds in the capital markets and provide clients with strategic advisory services in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. The role partners across Institutional Banking to understand client needs, deliver strategic solutions, and drive cross-selling opportunities. This leader ensures strong governance and control by working closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Audit, and Finance, while promoting a culture of responsible finance, ethical conduct, and effective supervision. The position requires sound risk-based decision making, adherence to all policies and licensing requirements, and transparent management of control issues to safeguard Citi’s reputation, clients, and assets. They will be managing a team of 9 Client Executives in Colombia, managing 129 clients with RR2026 revenues of approximately $383.4MM; as well as the NAM location strategy.
Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of Client Executive and work closely with the Sales team
• Understand clients’ business needs and work with internal partners to deliver solutions, adding value to clients and cross-selling Citi products
• Own regional service issue escalations, the resolution of recurring or complex service issues, and the regional incident reports
• Own changes to the regional/global escalation process, own the policy for regional clients, and own he cultural change for Client Executives and Account Managers
• Manage client priorities and complete the impact analysis of change rollouts for regional market/platform changes
• Lead strong governance and controls
• Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
• Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
• Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation
• Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services
• Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicated to you
• Obtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframe
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in a global financial institution
• 8-10+ years of managerial experience
• Experience leading client service as an account manager or manager of service team
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams, hire and/or develop diverse talent on regional basis
• Demonstrated ability to deliver to a high standard

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred
