Role Summary: The Junior GCP Data Engineer (Ingestion) contributes to data pipeline development and ingestion processes within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem. This role involves in building, testing, and maintaining scalable data ingestion solutions from multiple sources into cloud data lakes or warehouses. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design and development of on-prem to GCP Cloud data ingestion pipelines using GCP services. - Contribution to the definition and optimization of reusable ingestion framework. - Development of ELT/Transformation logic using SQL. - Prepare and execute tests. - Prepare and support move to production. Professional & Technical Skills: - 2–5 years of experience in data engineering or ETL development. - Good knowledge of GCP services (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Composer, Cloud Function, Cloud Run). - Experience with Python, SQL and shell scripting. - Understanding data modeling and integration concepts. - Familiarity with CI/CD, Terraform and Gitlab. - Strong analytical and communication skills. - Basic understanding of Datawarehousing principles. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform Architecture. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years of fulltime education is required.
